to the official site Gîte G. Brunet, The monastery of human greatness was built in 1595 by Jean de Voyer, Paulmy's Lord, for the repose of his soul. In 1610 he installed a group of five monks of the Augustinian Order, which was be dissolved at the Revolution. The building became an orphanage for deserving children of Paulmy , then a girls school catered by sisters. Nestled in the small town of Paulmy, just behind the church,
