Brunet, The monastery of human greatness was built in 1595 by Jean de Voyer, Paulmy's Lord, for the repose of his soul. In 1610 he installed a group of five monks of the Augustinian Order, which was be dissolved at the Revolution. The building became an orphanage for deserving children of Paulmy , then a girls school catered by sisters.
